Supreme Court to Hear Case Challenging No-Cost Screening Requirements
The U.S. Supreme Court will consider whether insurance companies must continue covering the full cost of preventive health services under the Affordable Care Act next month when it hears oral arguments in Braidwood Management vs. Becerra. House Committee Chair Asks DOL to Withdraw Fiduciary Rule
House Education and Workforce Committee Chairman Tim Walberg has called on newly appointed Labor Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer to rescind the Biden administration’s fiduciary rule. His request comes after a recent ruling by the Fifth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals granting the Trump administration and the DOL a 60-day pause to analyze its response to the rule and two federal court cases challenging the regulation. Judge Blocks Trump Administration from Dismantling CFPB
A U.S. District Judge barred the Trump administration from stopping work and firing employees at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and ordered the reinstatement of previously terminated workers. She also blocked the destruction of any CFPB records and ordered the recission of any contract cancellations issued on or after February 11. Read More
